About Renata
Renata is one of the most prominent legal experts in the fields of human rights and exploitative crime in the United States. Bringing over 15 years of expertise advising on human rights, human trafficking, social impact, and strategic partnerships across both government and the private sector, she lends her expertise to Resolved Strategies as our legal counsel and chief legal strategist.
Previously, she served as ESG and Pro Bono Counsel at Paul Hastings LLP, where she led the firm’s Modern Slavery and Human Rights Initiative, along with other social impact programs.
Prior to her time at Paul Hastings, Renata spent 12 years with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as Deputy Chief Counsel, advising on immigration, human rights, and national security law. Her dedication earned her two prestigious awards for protecting the homeland.
In addition to her legal work, Renata is an active board member for organizations committed to anti-trafficking and women’s advancement, including The Knoble, the National Survivor Law Collective, OUR Rescue, and AllTru, an organization supporting women in the special operations community. She also sits on the Board of Chrysalis Digital Assets, a company driving transparency and trust in digital innovation.
